Gresse en Vercors is located at an altitude of 1250m, and is an exceptional, scenic ski area at the foot of the largest mountain in the Vercors, the Grand Veymont (2341m high).

A naturally rich and preserved area !

Gresse en Vercors, at the heart of the Natural, Regional Parc in the Vercors (PNRV) hosts a wide variety of fauna and flora, notably in the natural reserve of the highest plateau in the Vercors which is the largest, natural reserve in France. On a surface area of 17000 hectares, there are 1800 flower species of which 80 are protected, 60 orchid species, 135 nesting-bird species, 65 mammal species and 6 wild, hoofed mammals.
