Moutain-Biking :

Gresse en Vercors offers a magnificent and ideal setting for mountain biking.Either free-wheeling or with a guide in the heart of the Vercors/Trièves region, a sensational mountain-biking experience is available to all, large or small !

We offer mountain-bike rentalsadapted to your level : kids’ bikes, baby seats, toddler trailers …

For teens and adults, we offer 3 price ranges for mountain bikes (from 1:30-hour rental to multiple day rental):

• Mountain-bike, blue-level or cross-country for an introduction to the sport
• Mountain-bike, red-level or cross-country, hydraulic disc-brakes for more thrill and downhill itineraries
• Mountain-bike, marathon-level with SCOTT brand ‘Genius’, available only with a professional guide from the Mont Aiguille to fully enjoy the experience (preferential rates)

We offer free, official mountain guide itineraries (from the Guides et Accompagnateurs en Montagne), for all levels: from beginners to specialists. The Gresse en Vercors site is accessible to all with a nature-minded focus.

During the summer season we offer a free shuttle service for all mountain-bike rentals to drop you at the top of the Allimas peak. From here, you have an amazing view of the Mont Aiguille, and you begin a striking descent to arrive at the mountain-bike center (the Gresse en Vercors ski area). Upon request, we may also offer a pick-up lower in the valley in: Saint Guillaume, Saint Michel les Portes or the Lac de Moneteynard, to avoid the climb back to the base camp !

In order to fully benefit from the mountaineering experience, we offer hikes or biking tours with a certified mountain guide from the Mont Aiguille. Tours may be from 2 hours or longer (up to a mountain-bike trip abroad in Morocco or South America) and allow you to progress at your level in a secure environment.

We are located at the eastern-side at the foot of the Vercors plateau and have a partnership with the Col de l’Arzelier where we can also offer guided descent-tours with proper equipment (full helmet, back plate, knee & elbow pads….) For all guided tours, you benefit from preferred rates at Grillet Sports.
